Do you have Irish ancestors from Antrim, Down, Dublin or Kerry?

If you have ancestors from any of these counties, you may be interested to know that the 1911 Irish census website has recently been updated. The National Archives of Ireland released the 1911 census for Dublin in December 2007, and has recently expanded the site by adding the census images for the counties of Antrim, Down and Kerry.

As well as the usual searching by name, there is the option to browse by place and view the names of householders living in particular townlands or streets. And the wonderful thing about this website is that it is completely free, so that once you’ve found the entry you’re interested in, the digitised image can be downloaded at no cost.
