Liz Byrski, WA-based author of ‘Belly Dancing for Beginners’ will be touring libraries to promote her latest book, ‘Trip of a Lifetime’, from 25 – 28 March. When parliamentarian Heather Delaney is shot in the shoulder outside her office, her life will change forever. Struggling to return to work, she is haunted by questions about the shooting. Was it personal or political? Who could hate her enough to want to try to kill her and will they try again? Liz will be talking at events in Bentley, Capel, Spearwood, South Hedland, Inglewood, Cottesloe, Joondalup, Forrestfield and Wanneroo.

In April, novelist Toni Jordan will be touring from Monday 28 to Wednesday 30 April. She will be talking about her debut work, ‘Addition’, which has foreign rights already sold in nine countries. Described by Sigrid Thornton as ‘A stylish, witty and moving love story’, ‘Addition’ is the story of Grace Vandenburg. She’s damaged and screwy, but not a victim: she’s quick-witted, flirtatious and headstrong. Pick up a copy from your local library today to read what is already one of the stand-out books of 2008.
