Battle of the discs

Blu-Ray has recently been announced as the new and improved DVD. Blu-ray discs hold much more than a DVD can (25 gigabytes compared to a DVD’s 4.6 gig), and produces a much better quality than DVDs can.

Opposing Blu-Ray is HD-DVD but this format can only hold 15 gigabytes. The problem now is who is going to win the format war? Choose your sides now, because it might get messy.

According to www.supermediastore.com, a 20gig single Blu-Ray disc will set you back $16.99 with the burner costing a massive $850. more… HD DVDs are priced around the same area, but there is the difference of space.
