In my opinion, Sundays are bookish days. They are a wonderful day to read. And that why it’s great how many libraries are now open on Sundays.
Our library – State Library Western Australia – is open from 10 – 5:30.
The main libraries at the universities in Perth are open at various times.
A number of public libraries are now also open. Nedlands Public Library is open from 1pm to 5pm and was bustling with people when I visited it yesterday. Other libraries which are open Sundays include Dianella, A.H. Bracks (Melville), Gosnells, Subiaco, Riverton, Karrinyup, Joondalup.
If you know of others, please tell us about them.
Sunday libraries – great for customers; not so great for staff. 🙂
